I have a Vox Standard 25 electric guitar, it looks identical to a Fender
Strat except he headstock is a different shape. I have never seen this
guitar on sale (I got it second hand to learn on) does anyone know where I
can find out more about Vox guitars.

Thanks in advance

Franco.

You could make a good start by looking at: http://www.voxshowroom.com

...though it tends to concentrate on the Italian-made Vox guitars of the
second half of the sixties (with some UK ones thrown in).

Your Vox Standard was made in Japan, in about 1980. There was also a deluxe
version in "natural" finish with a "neck-through-body" look (though with a
separate neck IIRC) and with two DiMarzio X2N humbuckers.

The official Vox site is slighlty better www.voxamps.co.uk

Apart from the fact its in german though, the Vox Germany site
(www.voxamps.de) is even better.
