I heard this as an mp3 yesterday so no details other than the
singers and the year. Assume it`s Martin Carthy on guitar.
If anyone reads this and knows what guitar tuning he was using
then I`d appreciate it.

Wonderful . . Oh, and to return to a question I don't think's been fully
dealt with here . . the guitarist may have Nic Jones. The Silly Sisters
tour band comprised Nic, Tony Hall (who's also an excellent cartoonist
and did the CD cover for the recent Nic Jones "Unearthed" release) and
Johnny Moynihan. However for the album they were augmented by Andy
Irvine, Danny Thompson, John Gillaspie, Brian Golbey and Martin Carthy,
so the earlier suggestion (of MC) might well have been correct!

Having listened to the tune a couple of more times my baubies are on
Carthy using probably the tuning DADEAE or DADEAB.

I could be wrong, but I think Gabriel McKeon (sp?) also played uillean
pipes on the album. A classic.
