Four part harmony group created by Mick Ryan, playing to rave reviews.
Musical originality and skill of a high order. add Mick's original
songwriting and four voices and the result is pure magic.
February 13th DAVE WEBBER & ANNI FENTIMAN
Return visit for Dave & Anni who gave us such a wonderful evening last year
- the best singing there has been in the Railway - bar none. Bring your
voices - raise the rafters and don't forget your Granny - she'd like it
too.
February 27th BILL CADDICK
Now singing lots of his early classic songs again, Bill is in fine fettle.
An evening with Bill offers a unique blend of lyricism and earthy realism.
Good twelve-string playing, as well.
March 13th COOPE, BOYES & SIMPSON
A Capella rules, or it does when Barry, Jim and Lester are about. Fast
adopting the mantle of national treasures, they are bound to give us a good
night again.
March 27th JEFF DENNISON & BENNY GRAHAM
And now for something rather different. Jeff & Benny are boaties, whose
music is bathed in the often-murky waters of 'the cut.' Tonight will be a
slide show, charting the development of the canals and their music, with
Jeff & Benny both providing the songs and projecting the images.
April 10th GRACE NOTES
More harmony, but this time the girls! What joy. Tonight sees the return to
the club of Maggie Boyle (who gave us such a splendid evening with Steve
Tilston last year) with Grace Notes who have been so well received at
festivals for the last couple of years.
