Some of you may already have heard of the sad death of Pam Elliott but I
was speaking to her son, Joss, today and he has asked me to pass on the sad
news to the folk community.
It's exactly two months to the day since her husband and our dear friend,
John Elliott passed away and Pam has been very ill since then, having been
receiving treatment for cancer for some time. She and John were
inseparable.

The Birtley Folk Club has lost yet another member and the local folk
community another friend.
Pam's funeral will be delayed to give relatives from Canada time to arrange
travel at this busy time and is expected to be on Saturday, January 9th.
I'll post more details as soon as they are finalised.
