This is causing severe bedlam to my poor brain cells.
I cannot see how on earth to get past level 16. It takes 15 mins to
reach it then 15 seconds to lose all my remaining lives!
Would any kind beehive experts be able to offer me any tips please?

I spent many hours last night trying to get past that level. It *seems*
almost impossible as there's too many white flowers (think thats what they
are). I'm going to spend another few hours on it this afternoon, I can't
stand being beaten by a game!

Do you mean 16? or 17? I can get through 16, but have exactly the experience
you describe
on level 17. *All* of the coloured ones are hidden behind white ones, so you
need to
have a shedload of honey bombs to get through. And if it doesn't give them to
you, you're
knackered.

Anyone know a way to force the honey bomb issue?

I meant 16. How on earth do you get through 16?
17 sounds silly!

How do people get such high scores?
I've seen mention here of a simple technique to use at the end of each level
but it doesn't seem to amass many point.

They change the levels a fair bit now so it's hard to give ppl any tips.
The only tip I can give is practice, practice, practice! It is level 17
with the white flowers as well it's pretty much impossible, spent 2.5hours
on it last night!

Getting through 16 isn't THAT difficult if you get right the colours early on.
You'll notice that there are large blocks of pink flowers on both sides, so if
you can get early yellows and blues (I think it is) to break through, its not
too bad. You only need a couple of yellows or blues with a space between them,
and you can make the 3 you need. I always do the right side first (its easier
to get to the pink ones)
and when you get a honey bomb use it to blas t away at the bottom of the left
side.

But when you do it, you'll wish you hadn't cos 17 is impossible.

Thanks Brian - your advice worked and I got through level 16.
You are certainly right about level 17 - it looks impossible.
Has ANYONE got through this?

Go to www.mame.dk and get the emulator.

Beehive Bedlam is a slow version of the arcade classic Puzzle Bobble
or Bust A Move

You'll find the game (ROMs) at www.mame.dk

The emulator is at www.mame.net amongst other places (www.vg-network.com
is an alternative if you can put up with the pop-up windows).

If you need more help, try the alt.games.mame newsgroup - they're a
friendly bunch :-)
