£1 installation on sky.com

Has anyone had their order processed on Sky's website for the £1
installation? I have tried a few times and it keeps coming up "there is a
problem with your request, call Sky to process your order" Cant see why
not, when all my details are correct.

Is it just me or has it happened to anyone else?

It could well be responding in that matter because there are
problems with the automated booking and billing computers
not with the details you have entered.
It could also be generic responses to server trouble it would
make a change from a string of characters and code or a plain
404 message:)

It could also be someone at your address has had Sky installed once and your
address is already in there.
You phone and Sky can say "where our frickin' money!"

I had that problem last week, so I rang Sky and told them I'd been trying to
take advantage of the internet offer. They put it through for me at £1 over
the phone. Had it installed Friday, just waiting for my viewing card now
(apparently it was posted on April 1st)

web site for £1 offer

I tried to obtain the offer thru the website but failed. So I rang Sky by
the good old fashioned 'phone and they agreed to honour the deal.
