... on my DVD player. 8-)

I'm on disc 3 now, and as it's been a *long* time since I last saw the
episodes I'm finding the process intriguing, remaking all the links and
re-spotting the foreshadowing. I'm wincing a bit at some of the clunky
dialogue and not-very-good acting, but I think I'll persevere. I hear it
gets better...

Keep watching, mate - it's worth it (although what TT did to series 5 was a
shame).

Good-oh. Is it true that there's a scene during season 1 where they didn't
mask out the strings holding a Starfury up?

Season 1? Yeah, my fav show ever, but Season 1..... eeek. How I got to
the brilliance of the other seasons I'll never know. That said, S1 is a
lot more interesting once the other season are seen.

Can be irritating, but some decent insights.

Never noticed that. I'd love to know exactly where so I can see it.

I'll have me a google.

Actually, how? Either the set was sat there, or it was CGI. Where would
strings be?

Thread or string? Also, did the Starfuries launch radially or
tangentially?
