Sunshine - Earth's last, best hope!

Did any of you see Sunshine?

Just wanted to say I think its as good an SF film as I've seen in a long
while. Quite subtle and stylish and a million miles from Armageddon I'm
happy to say. Its a British film with a budget of around 20 million
pounds, but as a well known writer/producer/director might say, you can
see every penny of it up there on the screen.

If you' haven't seen it, or heard about it, its set about 50 years in the
future and the Sun is extinguishing itself (let's not get too hooked up in
the science). A second mission is sent with a massive device which may or
may not reignite the Sun, with a team of 8 specialists on board. The
first mission disappeared, and Earth does not have the resources to create
a third device.

I'm not completely sure about the ending... but it definitely gets my vote.

Yes. For me it's a "no".

But as we all know, the plot is ultimate wrong.
According to 422 Earth's sun will go nova in a million years.
