Hi,

I was recently watching the documentary by Adam Curtis "the trap", and
there is this extremely melodic piano-dominated piece of music at the
beginning of that film.

I know the music but not the title any more. Can anyone help me out
with info on what the name of that piece is?

Many thanks!
Mark

Not sure about the melodic piano but the very melodic Peggy Lee sings 'Is
that all there is?" at the top of the show and during the trailers. A song
I'd never heard before. At last, an over-used trailer that doesn't grate the
nerves after two days.

As for the prog, best in its class since Chomsky's Manufacturing Consent
twenty years ago.

cheers
Ty

Wikipedia lists the following as featured music:-

"Intermezzo" from The Karelia Suite, Jean Sibelius (Opening title)
"Return To Hot Chicken", Yo La Tengo
"On Some Faraway Beach", Brian Eno
"Age Of Consent", New Order
"Overture from Tannhauser, Richard Wagner.
"Assault On Precinct 13 (Main Title)" from Assault On Precinct
13, John Carpenter

It's probably one of those.

Many thanks, Trevor... actually it was "On Some Faraway Beach" by
Brian Eno.

Thanks everyone for the replies. It was really helpful and quick!
