Great to see Lucy Lawless on Freeview again - 'sbin ages.

Kiwi Lucy is quite willowy with a feminine Aussie lilt, but really
butch sounding when she lowers her register and emulates an American
accent - she put the dopey Sheriff in his place! :-D

Though the Sheriff did win out in the end, over the FBI at least! I
was hoping that that smartarsed little Miss Mars would see a vengeance-
seeking Xena glaive flying towards her smug face at the end.

Don't forget you can catch the divine Ms Lawless in an
ep of S2 of the rather good 'Burn Notice' on FX.

Oh, and I don't remember Xena ever using a glaive in
any ep, with the possible exception of the two-part
Chin ep, 'The Debt'.

Did you mean her trusty Chakram, by any chance?

Yeah. I was thinking of the Krull chakram (which they called The
Glaive, despite it looking nothing like a glaive).

Although sometimes I would not mind either being thrown at Veronica
Mars, the next time she is snotty to people on her show!

I never recognize her since she's gone blonde. She was in an episode
of The Flight Of The Conchords that I watched and I only realised
because it was mentioned on an internet forum!

I liked her Warrior Women series - she covered Boudicca (Boadicea) but
didn't mention about Xena helping her fight Julius Caesar! :-D
