The Prisoner - US style

Thought it might be of interest to some of those here, the US version
of the Prisoner has been and gone, a sxz episode mini-series no less.
Can't say it's quite the same beast the originaal UK version was (I
think the die-hard fans will be quite dismissive); the quirky air of
the original is totally gone, and the overall feel is quite black.

Our focus in this case (Number 6) is Jim Casievel, and the omnipresent
Number 2 is our own Ian McKellern.

Don't know if it'll get a UK airing, but it's available via the usual
non-legitimate channels.

Yes, it will get an airing on ITV as they co-produced it. Hmmm, Hayley...

Using a British actor for the villain is pretty groundbreaking!
