"INVALID SERVICE" message

I just had the message above appear on a number of channels. One that
i was watching not 5mins before.

It would be on Channel 32 (21 to 69).

It has ITV3, Virgin 1, Fiver, Five USA plus others.

I tried a manula retune and got same message still.

On my LG it shows the signal strength as i normally see it - not
brilliant but enough to recieve broadcasts.

ANY IDEAS ???

Yes, there's been a national failure of Mux A. That carries the channels you
mention:-
