What happened right at the very end of this week's Dollhouse on ITV4?

The show over-ran even more than usual, and so our recording cut off; we
were going to catch tonight's repeat but ITV4 showed football instead.

The last bit we have is the guy in a hospital bed is visited by his nice
neighbour, then it cuts to the Dollhouse where Echo & Sierra are walking
towards each other, watched from the balcony. As the song goes "freedom
from our struggles & misery", Echo starts to shake her head, and?

Have a look at the Dollhouse NG. There are some great write ups of each
episode. I could tell you some thing vague form memory, but you will get
much better info from the posts in the NG.

Warning: the folks there are Whedon nuts and over analyse this show like
Lost loons do.

That was it, a panorama of the dollhouse and the credits rolled.

Nothing much happened but I did wonder why Echo shook her head at Sierrra?

I was checking out the review at the avclub.com website and someone made
this funny comment...

Here are the plots for the next three episodes:

Stop terrorists from attacking a strip club.
Keep burglers from stealing a microchip from a nude beach.
Go undercover as an underwear model to recover Jewish art stolen by the
Nazis

There wasn't, say, Echo passing a secretly gestured message to Sierra?

There's a Dollhouse newsgroup?

Analysis I can survive; what worries me is incessant spoilerage.

If only :-)

Might have stopped it getting cancelled :-(

More proof, if needed, that US TV schedulers are completely stupid!

If you look for "AOQ Dollhouse review" threads you should be OK. They are
clearly labeled and there are no spoiler subject lines in the NG that I can
see in the top 20 ish subjects. You should be OK.

Also, I think the UK has now caught up with the US, which has paused the
show.

I didn't realise that it had been cancelled until you mentioned it. To
be fair I don't think it was the scheduling that caused it's demise.
Whereas Firefly was worth recommissioning, Dollhouse is pretty poor
by Mr Whedon's standards. The fact that it is basically a vanity project
for Ms Dusku is part of the problem as both her and the series concept
aren't good enough for the show to get a decent audience IMO.

I tend to agree. She couldn't hold the lead role in Tru Calling, so I'm
surprised Joss gave her DollHouse.

She makes a great supporting actress, but lacks that certain something
needed to make a credible lead.

Nuanced.
