It's working fine on my PC.

I share your disgust but not just about iPlayer but the fact the BBC
output is fast heading towards the gutter.

Drag Queens, jewellery making, make up and crap quiz shows, etc., etc.

Sad person that I am I look through the Radio Times and mark anything
that I might find interesting, there are very few BBC programmes which
get a tick.

By the next time my licence needs renewing I'll be and old fart of 75
when I would have had a free licence, but we have to pay for the likes
of the gobshite Lineker and his millions of pounds for a few minutes a
week spouting rubbish about football.

Didn't he take a pay cut?
Anyway, what you need to realise about the BBC is that it isn't just
about you and what you want. They are the national broadcaster and
millions of people are interested in football and what Lineker has to say.

I am glad to hear of your principled position.

You *are* going to desist from watching all broadcast TV, whether on
terrestrial, satellite and cable/internet... yes?

When I need to play something online, I can usually just use the Guide
on my PVR (A Humax). Although not all PVRs seem to do it that easily.

On the subject of ruining things. The 1st time I went into Teletext on
my PVR, it was a horrible online thing. I worked out how to change back
to the old version.

Richard.
