I think it appeared at intervals throughout, but it certainly closed the
programme.

Dunno, but it's nice though. It's on ITV Player if anyone else want to try.

Tunatic (a Shazam-like app for Windows PC) doesn't recognise it.

Mm. Not a bad comparison.
All filmed round here so we get distracted by guessing where they are.
Fascinating characterisation tho'

The credits list Ben Bartlett as the composer.

I too have been puzzling over this all night after watching it on
video. I felt sure it was Chopin but couldn't work it out- it seemed
like a nocturne but wasn't in my book of nocturnes. By some very weird
coincidence last week I bought a copy of the nocturnes as I am
learning no. 9 I remembered that in my piano teachers's Urtext edition
there are a couple of extra ones so I looked and there it was

Chopin Nocturne no. 22 in C minor hallelujiah!!!

Discovering this has made my day. How sad is that!
Hope this helps

Hi all,

Sorry but it isn't number 22. I have the episode on sky and have
played it with nocturn 22... And they are very differnt. It sound
like erik Satie to me, although 22 is superb.

I have emailed the music arranger for the episode without response.
