So how does it work ?
The signal that makes up your digital television viewing enters your cable
box at a frequency which is higher than 54mhz. When you subscribe for a ppv
by using the buy, order or purchase button on your cable remote the billing
information is sent to the cable company from your cable box at a frequency
which is lower than 54mhz. This filter simply blocks any frequency which is
under 54mhz from leaving your digital cable box. So in effect you will be
able to preview, test your ppv channels without your cable company receiving
the billing information meaning free ppv channels.
Calling for ppv channels
Please note that this filter will not work for cable subscribers who have to
call their cable company in order to receive ppv channels. This filter is
only compatible with subscribers who order thier ppv channels through their
cable remote.
