Brookie already has a Nolan sister :-) How many ex-musical-ex-popsingers do
you want?

Hehe - yes it's true! Hence my message last year about getting Sonia in
to play Carmel's younger sister.
It gets better - Carol Connor was one of the backing singers on stage
with Sonia in that Eurovision contest. There's a pic at
http://www.penelope.demon.co.uk/sonia/soniacarol2.jpg and you can visit
the rest of my (rather shoddy) Sonia site at
http://www.penelope.demon.co.uk/sonia/ - but don't expect anything very
exciting, I put all my efforts into the Alex Fletcher site and haven't
got around to fixing the Sonia one yet.
Hey Paul m, you and me seem to go for the same celebs don't we!
Talking of Carol Connor, did anyone notice her appearing as a non-
speaking extra in a scene at Pizza Parade on the *Living repeats late
last year?

It appears so! Although I was never a great fan of some of Sonia's music
but she has a great voice and is just one of those people that when she
appears on stage you sit up and take notice! defiantly a natural
performer.

No just a cameo role would be nice. Like when they got Graham Norton in
for St.Patrick's day with the Nolan Sisters. I'm sure they would find
some way of doing it.

You cannot seriously like Sonia? That fat little Scouse girl who tried
to look like a tart and couldn't? No one liked Sonia, well, almost no
one. Six year-old girls maybe, but even they outgrew her. LOL! Don't
tell me you like Westlife as well? For a minute, just a minute, I was
deluded into thinking there might be a spunky Spur with a brain.

Oh dear. Do I detect a hint of jealousy?

The Hitman Roadshow (Pete Waterman) came to my home town about 11 years ago,
which me a group of my friends went to see. There were 4 groups who were
just hitting the big time (if that's what you can call it) - Sonia, Sinita,
The London Boys and Big Fun and a few other up and coming bands.
It only cost £2 a ticket and we all thoroughly enjoyed it - mind you, I was
only 13 at the time. I cringe at the thought now :)
