Not that it matters if he is - just curious. Someone told me that they had
seen a video of Dean "performing" with other men. Is he "out" or, more
likely, is the claim untrue?

Gareth.

The first smile I've had for anything Brooky-related in ages!

Yes, I believe Dean is gay, and if rumours I've heard are true, he
apparently lives with Fred Talbot, the TV weatherman.

Cheers, Tony

Do you reckon they jump around the weathermap together? That would be a
sight.
I know he's out, but I've never heard of any sort of video.

I'm not an initiate here so go gently on me please - explain the situation
which, true, is none of my business but which as a Julia Brogan wanabee is
important to me nontheless.

Who the hell is Fred Talbot - explain the joke using the 5 year old phonetic
alphabet.

Look, simple question - is Jimmie gay?

Gareth (begging for mercy) Davies.

I've heard the Fred Talbot thing, but related to Andrew Brittain, who reads
the Granada news (after News at Ten).

I've also heard rumours about Dean Sullivan (who lived/lives in Stockport)
and some rum behaviour in his garden (sounded like depression to me), and
I'm sure he was living with his family at the time. Then again, these
things are easily distorted...

OK, as you asked so politely! Fred Talbot is the weatherman famous from
Richard & Judy's This Morning who jumps around on a big weather map in
the Albert Dock. I don't know whether he's still in the programme since
they moved to London, but if not I think he does the weather for Granada
Tonight (I haven't been home in ages though, so I don't know).

And yes, as far as I know, Dean Sullivan is gay, but it really doesn't
matter one fig really does it? He's one of the few good actors left in
Brookie IMHO. Who he shags concerns no-one as far as I'm bothered!

Odd, now I think about it I remember seeing an actress (with an east
European name) in an interview on This Morning. She plays a nurse in some
popular drama series. I *think* she said she was the partner of Dean
Sullivan.

Gareth.
