Big Brothers' Derek Laud. Does he have a shady past ?

thought the name of Derek Laud rang a bell. He is a strange creature :
a senior Tory and ex-secretary of the right wing Monday Club and famous
for being the only black Master of Foxhounds in Britain.
The name jogged my memory for other reasons however as I seemed to
recall he was named in an alleged scandal a few years ago said to
involve boys from a childrens home in North Wales. The name Micheal
Portillo was also in there somewhere with allegations from Scallywag,
an online "investigative" mag run by the late Simon Regan. Nothing was
proved of course.

been speaking to derek laud days, if not hours, previously.

Isn't it strange how often "top people's" names are linked with

In fact, it turned out that he was facing a drunk-driving charge in New
York. Following the accident, where he was alleged to have been driving
on the wrong side of the road, four members of the family of a retired
dentist needed hospital admissions and are suing for $5.5M damages.

.... what is derek laud doing on there. Come to think of it, what the
fuck is he doing existing. That's not on. He used to be the secretary
of The Monday Club. A right wing extremist organisation, closely tied
to the conservatives, and which officially supports the repatriation of
blacks.
