This group was formed on June 17th as a temporary group with the following
charter:

uk.media.tv.big-brother is for the discussion of all aspects of the
programme Big Brother.
This group shall be rmgrouped after 120 days unless in the meantime an
RFD has been proposed to make it permanent, with an appropriate
permanent charter. Any RFD that proposes to make the group permanent
must have applied for a vote taker or fast track by the 120th day in
which case the removal of the group shall be postponed pending the
outcome. If either of these fails the rmgroup shall be issued. Control
should post a message to the group after approximately 90 days to
remind them of this. An announcement of the rmgroup should be posted
to uk.net.news.announce.
Advertising
Advertising is forbidden.
Binaries And Formatting
Encoded binaries (e.g. pictures, compressed files, etc.), are
forbidden, except for cryptographic signatures (e.g. PGP). Binaries
belong on a web or ftp site, whose URL may be posted.

The 120 day period actually expired in the moddle of October, but it seems
that the then Control omitted to take the necessary action to remove it.
I now give notice that I intend to remove this group, in accordance with
its charter, on or after February 1st, unless I receive, in the meantime,
an RFD to create it as a permanent group.
