As is probably well-known by now, the title of the ep is supposed to be
'That Old Gang Of Mine'. Now, if you will all turn to next thursday in
your copies of Radio Times, you will find that the episode of _The New
Adventures Of Superman_ showing that evening is entitled 'That Old Gang Of
Mine'. And Tim Minear used to write for _The New Adventures Of Superman_.
Now, I don't know if he wrote this particular ep, but...
So...chance? Or sinister conspiracy? You decide! ;-)

Dang. So much for *that* overly-melodramatic theory, then...

Verbing weirds language.
As far as I know, that was not one of Tim's episodes. Though I could
be wrong since someone who shall remain nameless never doublechecked
his credits. (But he's busy so I'm not holding a grudge.)
But Tim did write an episode of L&C entitled "I've Got You Under My
Skin" and as we all know that was also the title of an Angel episode.
I'm thinking there just aren't any good titles left. ;-)
Oh and Tim's episode has been pushed to the #3 slot. Jeff Bell's
episode, "That Vision Thing" will now be the second episode of Season
Three.
I thought it probably wasn't. I just liked the coincidence.

Yeah. He nicked "Through The Looking Glass", too. No originality, that
man...

Hmm. I thought they were on to filming #5 or so now? That would indicate
there isn't much in the way of important continuity in #2 and #3.

That's badly written. It makes it look like I thought TM wrote IGYUMS.
Which I know he didn't. Dang.

Niall,
I'm surprised at you .... I thought you of all people should know that
on Usenet you should never, ever let fact get in the way of a good
conspiracy theory. :)
Please continue with your theorising .... it passes the time between
now (or what I like to think of as "The Great Void") and the time when
we have new eps to analyse, discuss and drool over.

-Too much spare time? Moi?
Actually, continuity works out better this way. You'll probably see what I
mean after the airings.
It's true. As noted here, my first L&C ep was "Brutal Youth", nicked from the
title of an Elvis Costello album. I've used "I've Got You Under My Skin"
twice, as you know, and my first ever produced tv script was for a show called
"The New Adventures Of Zorro" and that ep was called "Sanctuary."

Yep :) Been there, done that, bought the fridge magnet :)
We know you've got major smiley control problems, but please, PLEASE get
some help. Seriously. I kid you not. And, uh, there weren't any real
spoilers in the post below. Not what I would call a spoiler, in any
event.
Interesting. You're either someone who has access to the eps already, or
you're mildly delusional, and severely bizarre[1]. I know which one I'm
thinking....
Oh, and one last thing....PLEASE LAY OFF THE SMILEYS!!! ARGH!!!!!!!!!
Mattia
Mildly sleep deprived, no patience for this kind of BS.
[1] I don't really mean that in a good way.
Well...that just took all the mystery out.

Not me, anyway...sound Python-y, but so do most things that seemingly
make no sense.

Yes, it was.

Riiight......
> Oh, it`s an argument you`re after eh??
Not really. Arguments require that I actually understand the point
you're trying to make, and from past experience, Mr. 'Loofah in the
Wazzoo', I can safely say the chances of that happening repeatedly are,
well, rather slim.

Indeed. One assumes.

Why. That's plain boring.
Oh, and please, do something about the Smiley Demon.
Scarily, I do understand. They're all Monty Python references. :)

Wouldn't that be the coolest detective show ever, 'God and Son,
Private Detectives'?

Only if God was played by James Mason, obviously.

film."
Careful. Before you know it you'll be talking about cats drilling behind
