Good morning

The streams that Nick Odell has recommended in
<news:ih23vht1fmmclhhmk...@4ax.com> are valid and especially the
BBC-4 stream <http://stream.live.vc.bbcmedia.co.uk/bbc_radio_fourfm> can be
used to replace the discontinued stream which was pre-configured on
Internet-radios of the brand “Metronic”.

Halleluja or someting.

I had initially refrained from adding a new stream to my radio, as input is
done via a turning button, i.e. by cycling through the list of characters,
numbers and special characters. But as BBC has really disabled the BBC-4 stream
that I was accustomed to, this morning I went through that chore and can report
success !

Thanks again ! ;)

I'm glad it helped though I'm still rather uncertain whether that link will prove a lasting solution: I have been receiving the 'this-stream-will-stop-working' messages from that link recently.

Okay.., I have filed a complaint about the absence of information and the
explicit uselessness of the BBC web-site.

Thank you Nick. I might not have listened to BBC-4 the moment that they give
the announcement – there are other radios, too. ;)
That said.., I let it rest and when nothing works anymore, live with it.

Cheeerio and – if you are having a holiday, tomorrow – enjoy.
