So what about the piece in today's Sun that Heart 106.2 London
presenter Scott Mills is to move to Radio 1.

I've heard him on Heart adn think he's on of their biggest
assests - rumour has it he also been presenting shows on Galaxy
101 recently as well.

If Radio 1 have hired him surely it's a sign they're finally
getting it right!

I remember Scott from his time at Piccadilly Key 103 - he was good, but
nothing spectacular, although he was always better than Steve Penk who
always got the media attention.

> dmc...@globalnet.co.ukand just to add to the Scott Mills fan club, I remember him from when he
was on Ocean overnights, and I have even heard a tape of him on
Southampton Hospital Radio! The one question I have to ask is when he
gets on air at the BBC, will they be happy for his voice to continue to
be the voice of the liners for Max FM, Southampton's Cable station? If
theye aren't, is there anything they can do anyway?

Well HBA through him out as he was only 14 and we have a min membership
age of 18. He was 16 when he was doing Overnights on Ocean. Running 4
radio stations on Ocean and still too young to be an HBA member.

Well if they do not get the Southampton Salie that will not be a problem
anyway.
