Did anyone watch this? If so, can you explain the ending to me? I
invested 4 hours of my time in this and, mostly, enjoyed it. But I have
absolutely no idea what happened at the end.

Please?

We watched it and about 5 minutes before the end I remarked to my wife that
I thought the writers were going to leave us not knowing what the vote in
the House had been. Isn't that what happened?

I still have the last one to watch - I'll do my best if no-one has
explained by the time I manage to see it.

(Breath-holding is not advised.)

Is that far enough?

We weren't told the vote, precisely. But from the fact that the
revolting Home Sec was preening importantly in front of a Parliamentary
mirror, and the dastardly General was seen being welcomed back into what
was presumably now the War Office, and that Gabriel Byrne was definitely
out in the abomination of desolation, I think we were invited to expect
the worst. We had to watch the last few minutes three times to work
this out, and were not amused.

Ahh again waiting to be watched on Mt Tobewatched.

I am enjoying Lillyhammer as an entirely off the wall piece of tv - and
given how long ago it was broadcast will give you some idea of the size
of the mountain.

Hello LizJ can I introduce you to Liz J?

And Liz J can I introduce you to LizJ?

Now I can spot a space at a yard (about my nose to the screen) but I
might miss it?

And a jolly warm welcome to Liz J to umra as I cannot remember her
posting before but I may have missed the space previously who should
never be confused with LizJ - and if I have caused confusion, all please
smile!
