Totally OT: does anyone have a user manual for an Efbe-Schott Delta Head steam mop?

It isn't often that I decide to move all the furniture out of
the kitchen and go over the whole floor totally unobstructed.

Imagine my frustration, having shifted everything out, to find
that the bally mop isn't producing steam, and the user manual
has gone AWOL. You wouldn't think that with just one knob to
fiddle with, it would be difficult to get a steam mop to produce
steam, but so it is proving.

So if anyone could possibly relay the instructions to me I would
be ever so grateful.

There seems to be a link to the manual on their website, at
<http://www.efbeschott.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=35&product_id=58>,
aka <http://tinyurl.com/plyorz8>.

Thank you, Serena.

I spent ages hunting for a user manual online and still failed
to find it before.

The worst of it, that I was doing everything it says to do, and
it still isn't working :-(

Is the power light coming on? If not, it may be a blown fuse or (as the
manual says) an incorrectly wired plug.

Yes, the power light comes on red, and then goes green. The body
of the thing heats up, it does everything it's supposed to -
except its raison d'être, namely direct steam towards the floor.

I'm sure you will have checked this, but is the hose blocked?

Thanks. I think it has to be something like that. But I'm not
sure how to go about checking and if necessary unblocking it.

How does it connect to the main part? If you can disconnect that and
then see if you can run water all the way through - that will confirm
whether it is blocked or not. How to unblock if necessary I can't help
as I don't know how long the hose is, nor what one of these things are.
