Just recieved my region 2 copy of the 6th day only to find that it has a
dolby digital 2.0 soundtrack. I havn't opened it yet as I will try to return
it & exchange for the region 1 version.
Is there anyone out there who can confirm that the sound track is indeed
dolby 2.0 ?
If it is I think this is a pretty poor show on Columbia Tristars half.
Surely the reason to buy d.v.d's is to get a dolby digital 5.1 soundtrack
and an anamorphic picture. Any extra features are just a bonus for the end
user.
Thanks in advance for any replies to this,
Mike.

It is DD5.1. ColTri DVDs tend to default to the DD2.0 track.

and good job too (although the packing should be better) it at least means
they dont dumb down the 5.1 track for tv users

True. Just seen the cover (I was just looking at the check disc earlier,
which is the same as the release version) and saw the 'surround' logo.

It's like the Fox's DVD for The Omen which states 1.85:1 on the back but
is 2.35:1, and scores of EiV titles that say "16:9" but that usually means
(but not exclusively) "anamorphic in the original theatrical ratio"

Thanks guys just took the risk and opened the package and the disc fires
straight up into d.d. 5.1.
Definately an error on the packaging.
