Just looking into getting a new TV and I am thinking of going down the
32inch widescreen route. The keeper of the lounge wants it to look good
so I guess that means I'm going to have to spend a fortune. We currently
have a Panasonic and the picture is fantastic but a little small now
whilst watching amaphorically squeezed movies. Is this the way forward
or should I be looking into getting one of the cheap 41inch Toshiba
projection TV's which I've seen advertised cheaply (£1000) in the back
of What Video?

Thanks

how about a tosh 32wd98b (only a CRT display by the way), comes with Dolby
Digital and the 28" version got an excellent review from HCC a few months
back.

Curry's are doing a Philips 32PW6324 for 599 if money is an issue. Had mine
a while, and paid lot more than that. I'm happy with it. Not ultra flat,
but silver and sexy.

But bear in mind that the top shelf is only about 4 inches in height
... an issue if you want to put a centre speaker in there... !

Heh, after discarding an option on a Sony FQ75 I've chosen the 9525 as
I thought it better than the Panasonic PK20 and Sony FX60 models.

Tell me though, does it support raw NTSC input, say from a R1
compatible DVD player?

I'm sure it does, but I'd like to be SURE !

YES, of course it does.

And if by "raw", you mean RGB, then it ain't NTSC. It is 525/60.
