I agree, I have a Yammy DSP-A3090 and I would like to upgrade to an AX1, but
for me Denon has all the features that I want.
Although I still prefer the way Yamaha's sound.
AVC-A20SE (AVR-4802) looks like the one that will do everything I want
(Apart from I need a AC-3 RF demodulator)
Maybe I should wait for the AVC-A1SE to be replaced :-)

I'll be happy enough if they announce a fabulous upgrade and I don't mind
paying for this if it includes all the necessary tweaks/sound formats etc.
What about a two tier upgrade Denon? DPLII and minor tweaks = free via
internet/CD-ROM and all singing all dancing hardware/software one for about
Ł200 meaning a trip to the supplying dealer??? Sound fair to you?

And the new model that replaces the AVC-A10SE, the AVC-A20SE (AVR-4802 in
the USA) has DTS 96/24 and Pro-Logic II and THX DTS Processing, DTS-ES
Discrete and all 7 amps on board.
I also only has one less input than the AVC-A1SE and no AC-3 RF in and a bit
less power

Likewise, i also have the A3090 and an RVX590 thats now just used for stereo and
radio in my hall way, because it was never worth selling !

I like the Yamaha's too....i also quite like the front effects speakers and do
even use some of the dsp functions....they are great amps, but the customer care
apears to really suck !

My brother-in-law has an A1SE and very nice it is too....he just uses it for
surround duties as he has a seperate stereo system (pair of krells, b&w nautilus
802/3 marantz SACD!!!!)
