What does bipole/dipole speakers mean?

It means that rather than projecting the sound one way (As in a regular
direct radiation speaker), it disperses the sound out each side of it
enveloping the listener with surround. Dipoles are the same as Bipoles
except you can't localise the origin of the sound.
