Eltax Atomic 5.1 Surround speaker set

Has anyone managed to get one of these in silver recently ?

Various places are doing this at a reasonable price (150-175 ukp)

Hed, Richer and Hughes only have them in black last time I checked.

Regardless of colour - does anyone have this setup and care to comment on
it.

I had heard reports of the Sub 'auto standbying' if the AV amp was not
tured up to quite high volumes.

I'm planning to match this with a Sony STR-DB840 to replace a current
speaker setup.

Requirements (from wife!) are small, silver, wall mounted speaker < 200
ukp.

i have just purchased the atomic system in silver for £171. I have paired it
with the denon 3801 and am very pleased with it so far. Only problem i have
had with the system is that the sub pops whenit is turned off and sometimes
while runnning, not sure why or if this is normal. Apart from that it is an
excellent system, just remember to check size of centre speaker as it is a
bit bigger than i imagined, girlfriends just dont understand. Any one have
any idea why the sub pops plese let me know

Hi, bougth it £140 in January and i'm very pleased with it, even if the sub
as an autoswithc which is quite high. But they look good and sound nice.

i got the package at £140 from Hughes TV (hughes-tv.co.uk) incl. delivery.
It was in January
