I would be grateful if anyone could tell me where to get the cheapest DVD's
in the UK (pref non mail order).
Many thanks
Various Shops are doing offers, e.g. WH Smiths buy 1 get 1 half price....
The best deals are to be had on the Internet though...

That's a toughie - it's usually mail order that is the cheapest,
because they don't need to pay for a shop, staff etc and can order
stock when required instead of having it sitting around waiting for
customers.
I personally use
http://www.play247.com
http://www.dvdmod.com
http://www.dvdworld.co.uk
There are many others...

beginning of month - PC World - any 3 for 2
last weekend - Our Price - 3 for £40
Boxing Day only I believe...

Has sadly finished!
WHSmiths/Woolies still do 'Buy 1, One 1/2 Price'... (Most are slightly under
RRP as well...)
MVC do good prices, plus there's loads of £2 off vouchers around...
Justin.

Game are doing 3 for £40, although they don't have a terribly extensive
range.

I live in the United States and since I find the best stuff on DVD
comes out in Region 2, I tend to import my DVDs from the Netherlands
from a place called DVD Express. Shipping to Britain I think is €3 +
€1 (4 Euros) and I think they have titles a few pence cheaper than Play
247. The URL is http://euro.dvdexpress.com/. Their sister company,
http://www.dvdexpress.com/ has a great Region 1 selection as great
prices too, if you like me were to get an out-of-region player with
NTSC support.
