DVDs in ASDA (Update)

It's confirmed that from next week, ASDA will be stocking chart DVDs. I know
that Blade and Practical Magic will be available. The prices are fairly good
too - at least Ł1.00 below RRP. Godzilla, which was Ł19.99 on Monday, has
just been dropped to Ł17.99, and I was told that they will try and stay
competitive. (ironically, in same shopping complex as ASDA Swindon, there is
a branch of Dixons (about 10 yards away), and they are selling chart DVDs at
the RRP).

Also, I was told that DVD players will be available later in the year
(probably the Samsungs or similar).
Can we safely say now that DVD has really 'arrived' ? !
