Hi I got one a few months ago it's a fine machine, handles all problem
discs, picture and sound are good as well. Very good value for money.

Hi There

I have a Mico Machine and from my experience it needs to be warm to
play some disks. Most of my Region 2 disks work fine, however, The
Matrix and all my Region 1 disks require the Mico to have been playing
for about 30 minutes or so before I attempt to play them.

Another problem I have noticed is that the Subtitles are on by
default, but I suspect that this is a user option that I have not
discovered yet.

My Mico also seems to be a little picky about recognising a disc but
usually pressing play instead of close (tray) seems to work. Can get
my region 1 discs to play from cold though.

I've also just discovered this. I've played around with it for a bit and
found that there tends to be a bit of a problem recognising some (R1 and
R2)dual-layered disks. Try putting a single layered disk (or a disk that
works) in and let the menu load. Take it out and then try your new disk. It
should pick it up fine after that.

Older dual-layer disks seem to work with no problem first time. I am getting
a replacement today as I thought this was only my player. I didn't realise
that other people were experiencing the same problem. I'll test my new one
tonight and report tomorrow.

I think that everyone has the same problem with the subtitles.Has anyone
found a way around it?
