What do you guys use for ripping DVD video onto PC?
I want to use DivX for watching on PC, and Quicktime
for putting them onto new iPod.

Thanks

Gordian Knot
http://gknot.doom9.org/
or
Auto Gordian Knot
http://www.autogk.me.uk/

Get the codec pack, install both, point at chosen DVD. Choose where to
save the file, choose which codec to use for best compression, click Ok.
Go watch a DVD, come back remove disk. Play around with .avi file.

Ripping is one thing. Watching in quicktime format is another.

I believe you can use cladDVD to rip to avi on the HDD.

Go for the Auto Gordian Knot. The standard version of Gordian Knot has some
many options it's bewildering and you can easily not pick the right one and
be less than pleased with your finished file
