Can anyone give med advice of DVD lens cleaning please? I have a 4 year old
Sonly NS900V player that has lately started to complain about "dirty" DVDs
that play perfectly fine on my other Pioneer player and both the DVD ROMs on
my PC. I don't know if the lens does need cleaning or there is another
fault however I thought I would try the simple fixes first!

Are the lens cleaning discs any good, or is it easier/cheaper to do it by
hand, and if so, what are the dos and don'ts ?

C.

If you can get to it just use a cotton wool bud and some meths or even
acetone!
Be careful though and only clean the glass lens.

acetone dissolves plastic.

Just use water on cotton bud.
