Received my copy today from playusa.com after it was posted on 8th December,
had to collect it from my Mail Sorting Office and pay a customs charge of
£8.37, altogether cost me £33.36.

This is how my payment to Amazon (USA) worked out :
DVD = $32.48 (£16.59)
Shipping and Handling = $6.98 (£3.56)
Total cost = $39.46 (£20.15)
It came in a large box sandwiched between two inflated bags to prevent
damage.

The quickest international DVD I recieved was from EzyDVD in two days
(Australia to UK) and that was this time of year when you expect slight
delays.

If what you import costs more than £18 then you're liable for customs
charges, many people are lucky and things slip through but this can't be
guaranteed wherever you buy from.

You were lucky, so have I been on most occasions, the only time I paid
customs charges was for 24 season five. It ended up costing me £1.35 more
than Play.
