How many anime vids do you have?

I've been into anime since 1994, when I saw Akira on the beeb.
I've got 72 videos(mostly PAL, with a couple of SECAM vids)
Also can you get Evangelion on DVD in english? Does it have any extra
goodies on it? How much will it cost? (The reason I ask is because of
the *appalling* quality of AD Visions PAL tapes)

(patlabor). And i'm finaly considering some fan subs. Ok is this a silly
question but whats SECAM?

We've got PAL. US and Japan use NTSC. France uses SECAM.
SECAM tapes will usually play on PAL equipment but only in black and
white IIRC.

It's a french format almost identical to PAL, but with a slightly
misplaced colour burst, or something like that (those bloody french,
always have to be different ^_^).

That would make me sound like a beginner with only about 30 each of
commercial, fansub and LDs. But the time to start worrying is when a quick
count also shows over 130 anime music CDs, 50 singles and 250 cels
(estimated, I'm not counting that many cels...)

It's the French colour system. As for numbers, don't worry! You have to
start somewhere, and it's arguably better to have a small selection of
titles that you like... WAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!! ;_;

You can play it on a PAL video recorder but you lose the colour.
SOund and image detail are unaffected.
