just new to this newsgroup so if this has come up sorry to mention it again
but

Is it just me or does the backing trax of this anime sound almost exactly
like a karaoke version of achy breaky heart by Billy ray cirus.
was watching all 24 episodes this morn and it hit me just as I finished the
first disc.

lol. It took me a few minutes to work out which bit you were talking
about, but yeah, actually.

...Demo... you shouldn't watch it all at once, you should savour your
ecchiness like a fine wine. You see, ecchiness is very much like a
beautiful woman. Hard to see the ecchi side is. You pay, you wait,
you pay, you wait - sometimes you only get as far as customs,
sometimes you get all the way... but pay, always you will. Sometimes
it seems that if there's a bright center to the ecchiness, you're on
the planet that it's farthest from. But do not despair, alone you are
not. For I too want to learn the ways of the ecchi and become a
hentai like my father.

I was thinking about that today when I did my top ten for amv.org -
that most of my top ten are a bit... well... fucked up, really:

1 Kare Kano
2 Neon Genesis Evangelion
3 Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu
4 Kodomo no Omocha (Child's Toy)
5 Excel Saga
6 Di Gi Charat
7 Slayers
8 FLCL
9 Iketeru Futari
10 Ebichu Minds the House

Which reminds me - the poll didn't have a top ten this year, did it?
We'll just stick with these then.

Heck no. Far too much like hard work.

Absolutely. I have no trouble deciding on my top 2 or 3, but just to pick
ten is way to much like hard work. Every time I try I end up with a top
ten of about twenty! ^_^
