A giant lobster has arrived in Flamborough to help celebrate
the openingof a brand new marine education centre.
The Living Seas Centre, at South Landing celebrated its official opening
overthe weekend with a wide range of activities on offer for all ages.
It is hoped the centre, which is the first of its kind for the
Yorkshire Coast,will become a hub of marine education and awareness
run by the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust.
A packed programme of events await visitors to the centre over the
coming weeks including a fossil walk, seashore safaris, and talks.
