You have to laugh at the UK press sometimes. The Da Vinci that was pinched
from a Scottish castle yesterday was valued at £50Million by the Sun, but
only £25million in the Telegraph. Just who can we trust these days? Doug

Perhaps if the painting went in the Jacuzzi there would be no fingerprints
to worry about. No paint either! Doug

It amuses me to see this (not just here, but in the press and on tv too),
because the artist's name was Leonardo.

The "da Vinci" bit just tells us that he was born near the village of Vinci
in Tuscany.

But they have to make the distinction between him and that other famous
Renaissance artist, Leonardo da Croydon

How on earth did they insure a painting of that value (whatever one it
actually is) when there was obviously no security?

Something fishy going on there!

Yeah, I thought someone had stolen a computer virus.

"Why would they want to do that ??" I thought to myself.
