If the event was put on for free then the organisers (all volunteers)
would be out of pocket. MAG members do not make a penny from the
proceeds of this rally but there is a considerable finacial risk to
putting these events on. The entry fee is very low for 2 nights of
entertainment and camping.

As a long standing subscriber to this NG I feel entitled to post details
of social events like these. As long as they occur in the region and may
be of interest to people (motorcyclists or other)

I have nothing personally to gain from this event!

Anybody that goes to this event will be made welcome. Can you say the
same for this newsgroup???
