Following a recent vist to north wales I could not find a cinema which
showed good films any ideas? Also the one in Bangor is so uncomfortable to
pay for?Plus some of the staff were rude?Any comments?

Try Theatr Gwynedd. It doesn't seem to attract the sort of plebs you
get in the Plaza. Also you don't get the earthquake FX every time
a train goes past.

There is an excellent community cinema in Bethesda, it is only open on
Saturday but is able to show up to date films at very reasonable prices.
Ideal for a family.

Yeah, the Apollo in Rhyl. I hate to say it, because ;like everyone else, I
would like to see the drug invested town wiped off the face of the earth!
(Whoo!! Gonna get flamed now!!) But it has five screens, secure parking
nearby, and the sound system is better than Chesters. Chesters in the
analogue Dolby Pro Logic, Rhyl's is the Dolby Digital!!

And it's great watching the films when you're off your head!!

Theatr Gwynedd in Bangor shows consistently good films - but usually only at
the weekends. The Coliseum in Porthmadog is also a very good small cinema
