painting, decorating, rag rolling etc, using new eco-friendly paints
(whatever they are), and comes cheap(ish), and I need his rent money
so give him a job, someone - please!

We're haven't got back together, but he's still a damn fine decorator,
works mostly for lawyers these days though, which is typical, couldn't
be bothered to work when I was supporting him and is doing well again
now. The rag rolling/sponging etc. effects are rather nice, looks
like marbling without having the faff of putting of wallpaper. OK,
better go, before I get accused of advertising. Actually, it's just
that he still owes me some cash, so if I could get someone to hire him
and give me the money ... he he
