weird question - I finally saw Finding Nemo [ great movie] but what I am
puzzled by is that this dvd was bought in local Haringey [ green Lanes]
sainsburys store. I know that a great advantage of DVD's is the language
selection but the choice on this dvd was English or Hebrew! Why? This area
is close enough to Stamford Hill so Hebrew is fair enough, but predominant
languages are Turkish / Greek and maybe Urdu and a few others, a
multicultural area is this! Did Sainsburys buy dodgy DVD's or do they have a
plan?
What languages do you all get? Does it depend on where you live?
I thought they all had a selection of languages - especially on an
animation such as this.
thoughts?

Simple

Dicky Dirks and Gas Leaks don't shop in supermarkets

Any self respecting Bubble or Dicky will have bought a pirate copy of said
DVD for 49p a year before Pixar studios made it

Oh and Finding Nemo translates as "Searching for Bollocks" in Turkish and
"Discovering my goats Sexuality" in Greek

FOOTNOTE Our *Greek* expert and all round sensible Cockney "Agamemnon" tells
me that in rural ( Peasant ) Cypriot Greek the correct title is "Discovering
my Coats sexuality"

So I have finally come to the conclusion that it is impossible to write, or
reply to, a usenet message without the use of bad language.
Hey! I did it....I managed to write without cursing......Shit I'm
good....(oops, perhaps not!!)
