I clearly remember being told when I was young that there was a copy of
the Mona Lisa at Belton, also by Leonardo. I've visited a few times,
and read various guide books, with no mention of this tale. Anyone know
anything about it?

Of course, they claim it is the original; and so far, nobody has been able
to prove/disprove it.
Unfortunately you can't get close enough to view it properly
