Private Shop in Bexley

Whilst driving thru Bexley, I've noticed a 'Private Shop@ in the high
street. What is it? An 'adult' bookshop???

shop.......how do you know for sure....begs to ask how these people
know...ha ha ha ha ha ha

Yes, and not a particularly good one- it's part of a chain with a rather
limited range of stock, mainly titles published by the owners themselves.

I use to own the shop three doors away. It is an 'Adult Sex Shop' next door
to a massage parlour.

I did notice the massage parlour as well. What I want to know is, how do
you know to go in,if that's what you are looking for? Is it 'known' that
non-descript looking shops are sex shops. I am intrigued. I'm surprised it
has been allowed in Bexley, mind you, never know whets going on behind the
nets! :-)

I felt the need to get involved in this thread since 2001, who cares if nobody's here anymore! Driving through Bexley recently I was shocked to see the Private Shop is still there, exactly the same as I remember it in the 70's or early 80's. I used to be a regular at the model shop next door and as a young lad often wondered what was in the brown paper bags of the dudes that very occasionally came out(generally wearing a closed motorbike helmet!)... You would have thought it would have closed down years ago and yet it's survived the arrival of the internet. They must be selling something people want quickly!
Anybody know how long it's been open for business?

Should be closed down. If people have to access that sort of stuff they should do it online..not have a shop in a residential area where people including children have to pass it. I hope the council closes it down if they have any morals.
