Did you ever listen to VoA on the short-wave bands? The announcer would
say, in a carefully modulated tone, "This is the Voice of
America.....here is the news...in Special English...".
Perhaps, for the benefit of those having who are clearly having
difficulty, I should follow VoA's example - but in the written sphere.
No wonder, in some respondents cases, they are glad the Licence exams
became tick-box...
