Are there any here? Anyone got a diagnostic doodah you could fetch to an
address in Canterbury, hopefully on Mon or Tues, accompanied with the
knowledge to diagnose, and fix if not too expensive, a bastard Megane? Wonga
and tea supplied for right applicant. Well, any applicant really - he's
already been let down to two mechanics.

And you will be let down by a third. Getting things done on the cheap simply
is not worth it. Remember Oscar Wilde and price and value? I am sure there
is a Renault garage in Canterbury, go to it. It will be cheaper in the end.

Driveline Renault.

And probably not cheaper in the end. ;-)

Humm, in answer to the OP, you are unlikely to find anyone with the
diagnostic gear for one of those, outside of bonafide garages which
will expect you to bring the car to them.

And having the diagnostic gear more often than not means nowt when it
comes working out what's wrong with Renaults.

The cost of the round trip to his house would probably be more than the car.
