London Colney Pram Race (remember)

Does anyone remember the old London Colney pram race, with Jack and
Hilda at the GREEN DRAGON, Malcolm, Pete Gates, Peter Cambell, The
Rodells especially Tim
Oh what good days they were. Does it still take place, is Pearl still
at the Ocean Fish Bar up the high street. Please give me an update on
that lovely little village where once we had a real community
atmosphere.

I was the first french who did it in 197?. We did a Concorde (the plane) with our pram. At the end, I was completely drunk and fainted in front of the Green Dragon.
