Done it; done it all. Nothing's working today. It's Friday and I'm desperate
to have a blether with folk I've never met, but I don't want to go out
because I live in the west end and the mass of folks are SUCH bloody bams...

Westie's post was completely acceptable according to the charter for this

Yes, have you?

"Contributions are welcome from people who: live, study, work or have an
interest in the area"

Westie is one of the longest posters here and lives in Glasgow. That
qualifies her to talk about whatever she likes. What contribution have
you made? Do you even live in Glasgow? Ever raised anything whatsoever
that relates to Glasgow or the people in it, 'David'? Thought not.

Yes, and I obviously understand it.

It also states:

"uk.local.glasgow is for the discussion of issues relating to the
Glasgow area, which includes the city itself and other nearby areas
which are not covered by other uk.local.* groups."

The post in question in no way relates to Glasgow and is therefore
off-topic.

>Westie is one of the longest posters here and lives in Glasgow.

And that matters? It certainly doesn't give her a right to post
against the Charter. Or does she think she owns this group just
because she's been here for some time?

Can you not spot a relation there to the Glasgow area? If you can't figure

It was a better effort than some of the crud that's been slithering down the
ulg gutter lately - at least he attempted a build up (even if it was too
quick and had a Flamebait Rating of zilch). Well written, but a bit plooky
and gimboid; not quite a breath of fresh air, but better than slithering
crud.

I give it...

No, I simply have a huge penis. Unlike "David", who's effort was a tad

I've been diagnosed with clinical depression, and ah'm on the prozac.

Until then, I never actually 'believed' in depression, like it was just an
excuse people had for being 'fed up'.

Since I've been told I'm depressed, I actually feel worse off. The happy
pills aren't working, I have a sense of paranoia and I have this constant
feeling of dread - you know that knot in your stomach when you've been
caught fibbing to your mum about something innocent enough? - that ALL the
time.

I stopped drinking, and started eating well a couple of months BEFORE the
diagnosis.... maybe alcohol and chips was keeping me sane!? lol

Anyhoo, see your doctor. Get EVERYTHING off your chest in the knowledge that
nobody else will know about it. You might get some happy pills, you might
no. You might get referred to a counsellor, you might just be told to stop
wasting the doc's time. Doesn't hurt to find out though.

Living among the west-end bam-massive is your own fault however and there IS
no cure.

Awrra breast

No. I enjoy conversing with new posters who disagree with me when they
have a valid point or an interesting post to make. So not you, then.

Yes, have you?

"Contributions are welcome from people who: live, study, work or have
an
interest in the area"

Westie is one of the longest posters here and lives in Glasgow. That
qualifies her to talk about whatever she likes. What contribution have
you made? Do you even live in Glasgow? Ever raised anything whatsoever
that relates to Glasgow or the people in it, 'David'? Thought not.

I was going to reply to your post but you seem to post in people's .sigs
instead of the body so your quote disappears into the ether. But in
response to your thinly veiled insult: I've contributed hundreds of
posts about Glasgow, its culture and its people. So your point is what?

It seems to be breaking out all over. We're all going mental. Only some of

I believe the effect takes a while to kick in. But watch yourself - Prozac

I'd be more inclined to believe there was something wrong with you if you
*didn't* have paranoia and a constant feeling of dread. If dubya gets in

the first decade of this century, then bad bad bad things are going to

sitting in front of me because they're paid to be there.

Mibbe I just need a referral to the unutterably sexy "Big Man"...

Aw feck - thanks very much!
If I could only find a spare rocket launcher for sale - there'd be a cure,
right there... "Right, youse poncho-wearing bams, youse bams who vandalised
the interior of Curlers on Byres Road, and the whole razz-heided bluddy rest

You too.
Prozac is hellish strong but, from what I've been led to believe... watch
yourself.

I never talk rubbish. You are merely under informed, and use language in an
objectionably lax fashion, Mister International Leather fan.
